This year we all decided to run the Turkey Trot. The weather was
phenomenal and over 3,000 people showed up. Jonathan did the kids run
and Stacey ran the full 5k with Julia. Grandpa and I both ran on our
own. We had a good time, and as a whole did pretty well (especially for
not training at all). Grandpa won his age group, Julia finished 15th
in her age group, and I finished 24th in my age group.
Today we visited Jonathan's class to see his career day project and presentation. He (and several others) decided that they wanted to be a veterinarian when they grow up. Each student had filled in a facts sheet about their career, built and colored a display board, as well as added their business to the class city on the wall and ground.
On the wall: Jonathan made the red car on the road, and I believe his animal hospital in the brown building on the left side. On the ground, his animal hospital is the green building between the blue and the orange building.
