Julia and her BFF Jacqueline had their first swim lesson at the Y on Saturday. Julia did fine considering this was her first time in the pool. She lasted about 20 minutes and then got bored and wanted to play near the edge on her own. After class was over I jumped in the pool with her and we played for a few minutes. She enjoyed it, but overall I think she was fairly indifferent. We'll see next week if she gets more into it - the class meets every Saturday in August.
