My parents, along with most of the areas south of Rockrimmon and east of 30th were allowed back into their homes tonight. The threat of the fire spreading to more houses seems to be over.
Local authorities were able to take an inventory today as the smoke cleared. The reported count of homes burned is currently at 346, making it the most destructive fire in the history of the state of Colorado.
