6 Years, 8 Months

T-minus 6 years and 8 months until we're free! (yes, this is purposely vague)

UK Deep Freeze

Why on earth was today's Spurs game postponed? I'd say it's been a bit snowy across the pond the last week or so. Depending on the location, it's been the worst week of winter weather in a couple of decades.

Planes, Trains, & Automobiles

Make that Planes, Boats, Automobiles, & Trucks. We've got 6 months until our due date but that's beside the point. (click for a closer view)

Ultrasound Video

We didn't get a video of the ultrasound when we had Julia, so I think this is pretty sweet. The technology isn't that impressive in and of itself. But, the idea that we were given a CD with a video of our son in the womb at 18 weeks old (and that I can post on the internet) is pretty cool when you stop and think about it.

It's A Boy!

It looks pretty conclusive to me!

Ultrasound Appointment

Well, Stacey just called me today (1/5/10) and said that the doctor's office will be doing our ultrasound THIS AFTERNOON at 3 p.m. We were expecting to have a week or two between today's appointment and the ultrasound where we will find out the sex of the baby.

So, if you check this between now and this afternoon (1/5/10) come on back around dinnertime for the big announcement.

A boy? A girl? Post a comment with your guess. My only hint is that this one is a mover in the womb compared to Julia.

A Rare Sight

That would be me, Aaron, on video. Usually I'm doing the filming or taking pictures. I only played intramural ice hockey once and roller hockey twice in college. However, check this out. I sent the puck to one side of Stacey and I went the other side, it splits the gap between the sled and the snow, and then I bury it 5 hole between the chair's legs. OK, it's not that great. We didn't get it on video, but a few minutes later I hoisted the Stanley Cup.

Julia Plays Hockey

Julia really liked playing "hockey" this weekend. She thought that kicking a puck along the ice was pretty fun. I can't blame her though - it's something she's never done before and I spent a fair share of time kicking one around this weekend too.

Happy New Year!

My New Year's resolution: allow comments. That's where you come in.

This morning I skated (and played a game some say resembles hockey) for almost 3 hours. The ice was surprisingly good. A little after I got started the rest of the family came down to the pond to ice skate/play in the snow too. Julia really enjoyed kicking the hockey puck around and playing in the snow. Her new snow outfit looked like a scene from A Christmas Story with a little bit of Stay-Puft Marshmellow Man. Does anyone need to buy some tires? She looked really cute in her new outfit.

Quincey loved the snow and the ice. Grandpa and Grandma tried out their new ice skates again and did very well. I was able to get some great pictures of this morning. This wasn't a bad way to start off a new year. Hope you like the pictures eh.
