Costa Rica - Coco Loco Sunset

We've been doing a lot of playing on the beach and in the pool the first couple of days on our trip. We've done some driving around too, but there isn't much to take pictures of and share other than more beach shots. Rough, I know, considering work and school were called off today back home due to blizzard conditions.  Ha. It sort of speaks to that fact that this portion of the trip is not crammed with things to do but rather packed with "La Pura Vida", a local saying (that you should Google).

Wednesday night we had dinner on the beach at sunset about a mile from our rental. The place was called Coco Loco, or Crazy Coconut.  They have really good food. I had ahi tuna tacos. The attraction is just as much about the location as it is the food. Here's a shot of Julia and the restaurant, in addition to a picture Jonathan took of our waiter.

After ordering we passed some of the time by writing our name in the sand near the waves. The kids each did their own names. While we ate dinner we watched the sun set on the Pacific.

As the sun set, Julia played a little on the beach and drew a giant heart and arrow in the sand.
