Today was an extra credit day for those of us who came in yesterday. Most of the group was arriving today. I was wanting to ride the entire Tucson Loop on this trip, and today was a perfect day to do that. We took the bike path to downtown and then a quick side trip up Sentinel Peak, which is the hill that overlooks downtown and has a large "A" on the side for the university. Most of the four hour and seventy mile ride was on the bike path though. At one point on our route we came to a road closure from all the rain they had fallen the week before, but I still had some fun trying to ride across it until I hit a giant sandbar in the middle...
