Little Ballerina

This afternoon we took Julia to see the Nutcracker Ballet for the first time. She was excited all morning. Not only did she get to wear her new dress, but Momma also styled and curled her hair for the event. She seemed to like the show - as well as someone her age could. The entire show including intermission lasted two hours, so towards the end she lost interest.

When we came home she wanted to show Stacey what she had learned. With Jonathan in the picture we decided that one of us should stay home and watch him, so Stacey volunteered since she wasn't feeling well. Julia had me face her and hold her hands while she stood up on her toes. Then, she had me pick her up and stuck both of her legs out in front of her. It was pretty funny.
